Component Recovery of Printed Circuit Boards

SSI works with several alliance companies that highly specialize in retrieving, re-furbishing and re-marketing "generic" IC chips and components from printed circuit boards. Any proprietary chips will not be removed. They will be left on the board and sent back to SSI for precious metal recovery.

Once retrieved, the generic chips and components will be
re-marketed to world-wide markets. Some are re-used in
low grade toys.

We re-market a wide range of boards:

  • in any package format
  • whether it be surface mount, thru-hole or mixed on board technology
  • whether it be memory, processing or control chips

SSI will detail the items and recovery value in its comprehensive report to customers.
